Covid-19 has brought a profound economic impact on Children in Conflict with Law (CCL) and their families with the loss of job opportunities leading to poverty and hardship. State festival – ONAM is fast approaching and understanding the requirements of the poor families, Foundation for Development Action came up with an idea to support the most deserving families with free ration kits. The initiative was executed with support from friends and benevolent persons across various parts of India and abroad who had contributed for this great cause. The kits were distributed to a total of 50 CCL of Thiruvananthapuram and Pathanamthitta districts of Kerala on the 27th and 28th of August 2020. Our intervention was indeed on time and we have seen BIG SMILE on the faces of families.
